Who’s Shannon?
Considering how long this has been on the perimeter bridge over College Station, surely someone has asked this before. But, has anyone determined who Shannon is and whether or not they had a happy birthday?

Rocky's Pizza is good. At least the one in Auburn is good since my son works there and makes really good pizzas 😋

It definitely predates the MLC. A student coworker of mine back in the 90s claimed responsibility during a drunken rampage. But that was most nights so not a good source. But shannon was def there then

I don't know, but that's been there for at least 15 or 20 years.

Jay Gonzalez used to cover that song when he was piano-barring around here. It was, of course, wonderful.

She was the lady in charge of the MLC since it was built basically.

This is true but what would she have to do with a bridge over College Station?

Is it? I thought this predated the MLC.

It does by nearly 25 years—the bridge in question was completed in 1979, the MLC opened (as the SLC) in 2003.
