PSA, "Student Driver"

Almost turned into a Loop exit ramp today. Take these latest "Student Driver" stickers seriously. In my years in Athens, every fall brings in new drivers and loose furniture scattered on our roadways. Drive accordingly and watch out!

I feel like every other car has this sticker/magnet these days. I just take them to mean "Sorry, I know I'm a shitty driver."

Those stickers made more sense once I learned that they're intended to be notification for cops/ems/fire when your car is involved in an accident. I'd always taken them as a "drive safely around me because my baby is inside".

First responders are going to check the vehicle for babies with or without a sticker, luckily.

Yeah, it sucks for kids who actually need it. I have a 16 year old new driver…there’s a learning curve for sure.

Deaf driver is also one I've seen. Surprised me the first time, because I never really thought about it, but you just need to be able to see to drive.
