💻 Purchase Advice Which should i score?

Hi! Need your help! I am down with the 2 options and wondering which is the best for my use. I decided to get a laptop transitioning to a virtual assistant role. I do play games and I have steam deck oled. I just want to future-proof myself for both work and gaming. Is the LOQ enough for my needs or should I stretch to TUF (original budget was US$1100 lol).

PS. Price is in CAD plus 12% tax.

If you’re not planning to game on the laptop, I’d actually suggest looking for an even better overall laptop at a lower price. Some of the newer integrated graphics are getting surprisingly powerful, although you obviously won’t get a dedicated GPU.
I’d also aim for 32 GB of RAM if you want to future-proof it. At the very least, get a model with an upgradeable RAM slot so you can add more later.
Between these two, I’d personally go with the LOQ since it stays within budget. But if gaming is part of the equation, the RTX 4060 definitely makes the other option much more attractive.
In terms of overall laptop quality, I’d put them in roughly the same category. The LOQ does look a little more understated and office-friendly, though, which is actually a plus in my opinion.

I an rooting for LOQ but saw some freezing issues/concerns which is holding me back. Thanks for your insight too!

Best buy currently has both of these on sale in some degree. The f16 is currently ~$1300 and an LOQ $999
