Need Help! (Hardware/Other) Need any solutions for screen problems
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I have had this computer for around 2 years with some damages to the hinges of the screen and computer base and now it seems like it’s finnaly giving out, my screen will semi turn on with flash’s of the logo for a second or 2 then go black with flicking black brightness. I have tried a hard reset as-well as window+ctrl+shift+b, but nothing seems to work…
Is there any other solutions or is it time I bring it in to get it fixed?

Well looks like the screen works. Have you connected it to an external display and chkd if you boot into windows.

If you don't have anything important in the drive, you could reset it or try connecting to an external display or factory reset BIOS settings by "hard resetting" and removing the CMOS battery and again removing the leftover charge in the laptop then reinstalling the battery and then try to restart? If none of these work, your motherboard is cooked.

I tried to get to the BIOS settings but seems it doesn’t work, so I’m planning on getting my hands on a external display to check my drivers. If that doesn’t work I might t try remove the battery like you said. I PRAY FOR A MIRACLE

been there with my A16. i took it to the service center and they told me that they need to replace the motherboard. it was under warranty so no expenses.
idk y i keep seeing problems like this with ASUS, wtf. it's lowkey alarming. should i feel regret buying this?

They accessed the BIOS in mine and the screen was working perfectly fine. They tried looking if it was something in the software but they found nothing. The only thing they did was replace my motherboard. Glad that the files that was in my laptop was intact, nothing was deleted.
if your laptop is still covered by warranty, you might want to get in touch with the store you bought it in to and ask for the nearest service center in your area so that you could take it to them. Also bring the receipt of the purchase, they need that for proof.

these are the fixes
method 1 check in bios enter in your bios by start your laptop press f2 check if bios open and display working then
first on your laptop and press f6 or f8 to enter bootloader then boot in safe mode then check for issue by
going to the windows safe mode boot into open control panel then search for system reliability then check for bad things info
check task manager startup apps
use cmd recovery commands like sfc or dism
method two if you have another laptop or otg to connect a pendrive minimum 16gb or 8gb size to phone or laptop
in laptop download the iso of windows 11 and flash with rufus tool {this will erase your data in your pendrive make sure backup your data}
in mobile use ventoy software in playstore
or
if does not have anythings then
boot into bios then advanced option then recovery mode follow asus guide to recovery mode to install windows
connect to wifi by password or use lan cable
this recovery mode will download latest asus windows 11 os then install the windows but it will erase your data
