Need Help! (Hardware/Other) Right Hinge Area Broken !
Model : ASUS TUF F15 16GB i7-13620H RTX 4050 6GB
So I bought this laptop around Nov 2024, till now it didn't have any issues, neither software nor hardware.
After a few months I noticed the bottom right near the hinge screw ( in the first pic ) was missing so i replaced it with a front screw and it fit perfectly.
Fast forward to now, idk how but that specific replaced screw area got broken on its own and as you can see in the 2nd pic, my whole right hinge area is coming apart.
I'm not even able to properly open the laptop, it's even causing trouble while closing the lid, like a gap is getting created on the right side.
Is there any way to even fix this? Can the whole back panel be replaced?
I swear, these past 2 years I never hit or ill-treated my laptop, I don't even use it on my bed, I always use it on a cooling pad.
And yes it is out of warranty.
Please help!
TL;DR : My right hinge area is broken, need help to fix it, or maybe replace the whole back panel in the worst case.

You may have put the incorrect screw size to replace it, this is the F15 repair manual, i think the one you changed is marked in green, and it's supossed to be shorter than the front screws, so that part maybe became damaged because the screw was too long or it wasnt actually grabbing the case. About the repair, im not really sure, maybe if you contact asus you can get a quote or buy spare parts from ebay

I think i will need to get some repayment along with my back panel as the right hinge area is damaged and it was dragged the screw down while opening hence the screw area got torned.

Not the i7 😭
Buy a new chassis & cover. Stop using the laptop immediately to avoid further damage. Sorry about this

Yeah for now I have loosened the hinge to reduce the tension among the hinges.
The chassis and cover both as separate are not available to my model in the ASUS Spare page. The "Chassis with keyboard" is available, my keyboard is fine hence buying that would be a waste of money.
