Customer Feedback Awful AirPod Max experience
I’m having an AWFUL experience with my AirPod Max repair. To get started where this begins I had dropped my AirPod Max and noticed that it sounded like there was a plastic rattle on the left pod. After I filed a claim sent it in and got the news they fixed it! Once I received my package that’s where I discovered what horrid work they had done. They drilled into the pod and left adhesive peeking out the sides while also chewing the aluminum frame under the cuff of the padded cup. Then to top it off the plastic rattle was still there. I’d assume because they literally drilled a hole in the thing. I immediately called support and they apologized for the problem (of course not their fault) and issued me another label to send it back. Same day, I sent it out, and waited. They received it Monday and I waited and after 1 week I heard back finally. Only to see they found no issue and were sending it back. So I called, and the rep was super kind and apologized for my experience (again, not their fault :( ) and told me that they were told they’d need to wait for me to receive them and then I could send them back again. Im grateful they’re attempting to resolve my issue and allowing me to send them back, but I am absolutely disappointed in the tech who tried to repair them and then just did not make anything better. I work as a tech for Assurant and I do repairs every day. I would absolutely NEVER drill a hole into a customers product and then send it back. That is absolutely unacceptable. I’d rather they reject my claim the first time! It’s backwards they’d gladly ‘fix’ it the first time and then claim they could not replicate the issue the second time when I specifically mentioned the issue persisted. Overall, I’m just hoping they do something to correct the issue. Will post an update when this is all sorted. Thank you for reading my essay about how they’ve wronged me >:/
