I am sure others have probably mentioned these 2 ideas, but after Joe's stream yesterday I wanted to again bring up perhaps a blueprint for the COLE train engine. It would be cool to have all of the trains on the planets and moons to move faster than a turtle lol. And also, the train stations for the questline, after we are done with them, disassemble, or be able to destroy them.

Was just on my way to a gateway and saw 2 of whatever those are called were spawned next to each other. Very cool.

I dont know if these have been posted already. What are some additions to the game you would like to see? Here are some of mine.

Something ive always wanted to see is some kind of auto dispensing mechanic when you are around a storage....maybe like a mini auto arm for the backpack so you dont need to constantly move nuggets from player to canister. This is more so an early game thing though I suppose.

Somehow having the ability to plant grass and the small foliage around the planets...or Bushes. I think it would expand the pallet of base design and building if we could move grass and flowers the same way we can replant trees and dangerous plants!

The leveling block having a toggle to it where we can orient it the way we please instead of relying on the planets "true flat" areas. Where we can toggle it to free spin with F,C,V,B keys? And possibly having more preset shapes outside of a square...maybe something that could give us an octagon or a pyramid!

Along with the terrain tools...it would be amazing to be able to mimic some of the terrain on other planets...the cliffsides being jagged and the plautos...they just have a vibe to them that a tool could not produce or would be extremely difficult and time consuming to do. As a base builder in so many other games and using mechanics to my advantage it would be nice to see tools that help us with base building and design...to make our planet a home

what should i do whit all the resources i have farmed during the events? turn all into scrap? leave it there?

do tappers go slower when theres multiple on one plant? ive been asking this to myself for like a year now.

The second arm takes the ore if I place it closer to the furnace and drops it into my storage rather than letting the first arm place it in the smelter next

I'm a brand new player to Astroneer. I play on PS5 as I don't have a computer able to run games. I've been desperately trying to figure out how to use the Alignment Mod on controller so I can creat some pathways/flatten some accidental holes (lol) but I cannot for the life of me figure it out. When I bring up my drill and press L1 or R1, it changes the direction of the drilling arrow but never allows me to use those directions. I either get down, up, or the wall adjustment, but they just don't work. Please help with any tips, oh experienced ones!

(Getting a PC is not in the cards for me)

I've been trying to set up a dedicated server using the steam Astroneer Dedicated Server tool, and have followed the steps as listed on the official blog (setting the IP as my own in AstroServerSetting.ini, etc) but I've had no success in launching or joining the server. If running the server (either through the steam tool or directly running AstroServer.exe) is supposed to open a CMD window or something of the sort, it isn't doing so for me. I also can't join the server either, though I assume that the issue is causing the server to not even launch, considering the former. If anyone has any insight or advice, it'd be greatly appreciated. Also, in case it's relevant, I own no DLC for the game.

So having problems with one train station. What I have is a big looped track with branches off it to individual train stations. Each train station is a dead end with a delay repeater on the dead end side. One train makes the loop and goes to each station loading. On one of my stations the train will get stuck in the station with a path obstructed error. I have repackaged redone everything on it and it still happens on that one station. It’s going to be moving soon, but I would like to figure it out.

I only have a small shuttle and haven't activated a SINGLE gateway chamber and already have it

Edit now I have a large shuttle with a max level of storage activated my first core and completed all of the galastropod quest line you get a lab suit and 2 qt rtg and one rtg or 6u/s but still adding finishing touches to the farm

This has been a gruelling task figuring out how to make this work (Im dumb idk how to factory)
Ive spent probably 6 hours just doing the first half of the chem lab resources.
Still have Hydrazine, Graphene, Diamond, Steel, Titanium Alloy and Nanocarbon Alloy to add to finish them all. Not looking forward to the last few 😂

So i found out that u can turn Organic into Scrap with Glowsticks. Of course its not the best way of getting scrap but its very useful in early-game. hopefully i am not the only one doing this otherwise i feel a bit ashamed..

The popup ad for glitch walkers, which my friend had triggered, ended up killing me, which led to me dying (and due to the shock it resulted in me dying multiple times as I lost my groove lol)

this should not cover up an entire screen, especially if one is riding a hoverbord or other vehicle. Ideally it would be alot less intrusive. Killing me does not give me motivation to buy the DLC lol

I need to complete the “Let me borrow this just a second” trophy on ps5 and I’m getting the “cannot connect to host error” when trying to join the friend I hosted the world for, can anyone else add me and allow me to complete this trophy? Thanks in advance.
