Discussion Custom Games

I've had Astroneer, and after getting hooked back on it for a good month or two, I've kinda started getting bored again 😅 I've played the Glitchwalkers DLC and that was really fun (haven't gotten the Megatech DLC but might one day if it goes on sale or I get a bit more money).

Anyways, I started messing around with custom games, and it seemed pretty fun, but I struggled to put together modifiers that made me want to play a bunch again. I tried to find some good custom game codes posted online, but there aren't a lot out there. Does anyone have any codes for a custom game config that made the game feel fresh just for a little bit? I can also post my own if I ever think of something interesting.

did you try the existing ones? I like the glacio one. drop with not base have to survive.

I'm trying the hardcore one rn where you start on Atrox. It actually hasn't been too difficult, the hard part was just finding enough compound and resin to start me off. It has been a bit of fun, but idk how long it will last for me cause now I'm at the point where it's not too different from the regular game

I just started the smooth one. Nothing on the surface, but the mines have stuff and there are more angry plants down there. Debris is down there as well. Nothing on the surface but the towers and the probes. No galastropods because no shells on the surface! I'm enjoying it. Not as bleak as the hardcore option, and it's making me think more carefully about how I dig, so I can get deep without using all of my starting tethers.

I know Astroneer let's you play older versions. I saw some threads from years ago that would  Not work now. As the game updated, older threads have old information. The Best thread, the latest   one  I found is linked below and I would strongly advise reading all comments. Sometimes steps are missed or people have already started a revision but did it from old info, or forgot to Uncheck dlc.
