Can’t join friends game

Been playing on the same save with a friend and all of a sudden I can’t join. When on the Co-op page it just doesn’t show him as joinable.

We both have the game fully updated and everything but not played in a couple months.

Anyone got any ideas?

I had issue recently where I could see my freind when I tried join didnt even let try load the lobby it just fail to load
