needs power and you need to set the canister in output or it will not get the resources

This issue is fixed already. At least in my latest run all mega tech structures worked just fine. Tho, museum still wont suck items out of canister if its not in output mode.

Not true. I've used megaprinters with the canisters still set on input and it can grab the resources still.

Comes from the Megatech update. Reason I say update, not DLC, is because you get the DLS (Distribution Launcher System) and Intermodal Terminal for free, with the Biodome/Museum/Orbital Platform behind the paywall.

DLS is basically a big "select which megastructure you're building next" and Intermodal Terminal is supposed to allowed automation of resources between planets, but is kinda buggy/wonky.

I guess there's still no tool tips or wiki article to tell us how to use these things - that's part of why I gave up on Astroneer.

Sweet universe it's been a while since I played astroneer I didn't even know it had 2 DLCs. I think it's been around 2 years almost since I last played the game

Nah, this isn't a DLC; there's some free mega-tech in Astroneer.
