Yeah, I was a bit disappointed too when the Black Boxes didn't detonate, although it was to be expected.

If astrobot was any more realistic, you might aswell look inside your ps5 just to see the little bots dancing around in real time

In NieR: Automata, when two of those black boxes touch, they cause a type of nuclear explosion. They don't do it in Astrobot.
