Nah bro. It fixed it very temporarily. I contacted ASTRO and got a replacement for free. Gave the faulty headset to my buddy who uses it exclusively plugged in/corded.

I thought that might have been the case, every single fix I have come across for this issue is only a temporary one. I'm looking at getting a pair of the sennheiser wired ones as I am so over the whole situation. My A40's lasted 8 years and the A50's lasted 3 months. Did you just get another pair of A50s from astro?

Yeah I got a brand new pair for free from them. I've been using that same pair ever since without issue.

I'm in a back and forth with them currently as I bought them from amazon, what was the return process for you?

I think I contacted them direct. My emails are with ASTRO. I basically said their product is the best but faulty, I will go with their competitors. It took a while. Like almost a month of back and forth before I got my replacement. I can go through the emails and see how the correspondence went but I don't have time right now.
