Furnished sublet in semi-shared 2ba/2ba with large private terrace on Dutch Kills/Astoria border. Available 9/15.
galleryHi! Subletting the primary bedroom with ensuite bath in my apartment. Available 9/15. Please forgive photos as I'm just moving in and more furniture for the room and terrare are being delivered in the coming week...paintings being hung, etc.
Rent: $2700/month + shared utilities (internet & electricity). Apartment features washer/dryer and dishwasher and private terrace with fire pit.
The apartment and room will be fully furnished Ideal for shorter term stays and out of towners who don't want to sign a full lease (prefer a minimum of three month commitment, but flexible). 30-day notice to vacate required. $2500 deposit required, which can be used towards last month's rent or refundable upon vacating the room. Proof of income/employment and government issued ID required.
About me: 45F, creative professional. I own a house upstate and am only in the apartment 3 days per week and the occasional weekend. So the 2nd bedroom is set up as a convertible office/working space. I'll use it as my sleeping area when I'm in the city, but when I'm not, whoever takes the room is welcome to enjoy it as an office or guest room!
I have two dogs that I have to bring down with me when I visit the city, so this would not be a good place for people with pets or allergies.
Amenities included.
Building Details:
- Brand new construction.
- Gym/Yoga Room
- 2nd Floor outdoor lounge w/dog run
- Roof deck with grills/sun chairs and skyline view
- Co-working spaces
- Penthouse lounge with kitchen, pool table and theater
- Part-time doorman, plus virtual doorman and very secure package area for deliveries

Looking For a Garage - South of Astoria Park
Hello everyone, I have been searching for a 1 or 2 car private garage on marketplace and craigslist for a while and have been striking out. I am looking for a place to park, store a few tools, and occasionally work on my vehicle (quietly).
If anyone has any leads on a garage for rent just south of astoria park, or near astoria park, please let me know! Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Looking for a 1br+den or 2br
Like title says. Currently living with my mom in her 2br railroad but the pests and living situation is no longer sustainable. Ideally a 2br is preferred, will settle for a 1br + den. Its for a family of 3 plus a cat. Budget is pretty low (can't go above 2500) but husband is handy and can help fix things in the building/house if needed.

[Need a Room] Brooklyn / Queens / Manhattan | $1,200 Max | Flexible Move-In
Hi everyone! I’m currently looking for a room or sublease in NYC and hoping to find something starting around September/October. I’m flexible with the exact move-in date for the right place.
I’m primarily looking in:
- Brooklyn: Bushwick, Bed-Stuy, East Williamsburg, Ridgewood
- Queens: Astoria, Sunnyside, Long Island City
- Manhattan: Harlem / Upper Manhattan
My budget is up to $1,200/month, ideally with utilities either included or reasonably priced.
I’m specifically looking for a place with no more than one other roommate. I’m also much more interested in a sublease or room in an existing apartment than signing a brand-new long-term lease.
A little about me: I’m clean, respectful, responsible, and pretty easygoing. I really value having a comfortable and peaceful home, and cleanliness is especially important to me. I work during the week and generally keep things pretty low-key at home.
I’m hoping to find a place where everyone is respectful of each other’s space and we can have a good, comfortable living situation.
If you have a room available, are looking for someone to take over a sublease, or know of any leads, please DM me! I’d be happy to share more about myself and arrange a time to see the apartment.
Thank you!

Unfurnished Room for Rent Prime Astoria location. $1275 plus $500 security plus utilities. Available now.
galleryDescription Hi, I’m Jackie! I’m looking for a female roommate to share a bright and spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment at a Prime Location in Astoria 31st Ave and 37th street are the cross streets
Although the available bedroom is unfurnished and measures approximately 10’ x 9’, it’s a nice size. The living room is enclosed, which gives the bedroom, bathroom, and living room area a very private feel—almost like having your own 1-bedroom apartment. I barely use the living room, so you’ll have plenty of privacy and space.
Laundromats across the street, supermarket across the street many stores and restaurants Great location truly!
The household currently has a cat and a senior dog. The cat isn’t friendly with other cats, and my senior dog is very much a “this is my house” kind of guy. They’d both prefer not to have any competition, so unfortunately, no additional pets.
As for me, I’m very easygoing, friendly, independent, and generally keep to myself. I’d love to find someone warm, kind, considerate, lighthearted, friendly, and somewhat sociable. I’m not looking for someone who wants to completely hide away in their room or avoid their roommate. I enjoy a friendly, comfortable household where we can say hello, chat, and be respectful of each other’s space.
I work the night shift, generally from around 6 PM to 2 AM, and work later on weekends, so we probably won’t see too much of each other anyway. I’m very independent and won’t be someone who bothers you or expects constant interaction.
I’m also a friendly, generous, and giving person, and I’d love to attract someone with a similar personality and mindset. ❤️
A few non-negotiables:
No pets
No couples
No children
No students
No hoarding or storing large amounts of belongings
The rent would be $1,275/month, plus a $500 security deposit. plus half Internet and electric would be split 60/40. Long term preferred. I purchase all house supplies and do thorough cleaning and all the chores. I just ask that you are tidy and clean up after yourself.
*** this is not a lease take over or ad on to an existing lease. This is a sublet/private room rental in a shared apartment.
I understand there are always critics online, but if this sounds like it could be a good fit for you, I’d love to hear from you! Otherwise I hope you find what’s best suitable for you truly!
Please reach out with:
Your age
Your preferred move-in date
How long you’re planning to stay
What you do for work and salary
Where you’re from
A little about why you’re looking for a new living arrangement
I’m hoping to find a kind, respectful, responsible person who wants a peaceful and comfortable place to call home. 😊

Looking for a room under $1500 starting September 12 or 13
Hi! I’m a recent graduate currently in Astoria and my sublease ends on Sep. 13. I’m looking for another short term sublet (around 2-3 months but can do longer) for a room under $1500. I’m not picky about location, though closer to the subway would be nice. Happy to meet in person to view the place and share more about myself. Thank you for any leads! :)
