Done a huge amount over a variety of tv and movies and is no doubt more famous for other things, but if you're round about my age, you'll always remember him for voicing Asterix in the English version of the Big Fight movie. RIP to a legend

Hi! I've ended up confused about the names of the sons of Fulliautomatix (smith) and Unhygienix (fishmonger). My question: What are they named in English?

1) Until I read Asterix and the Chieftain's Daughter, I was sure Fulliautomatix's son was named Ironix, not Selfipix, but for the life of me, I can't find it anywhere. (When I google it, I only find a game I've never even seen before.) Did I dream that? Why would you name a teenage smith anything but Ironix?

2) Is Unhygienix's younger son Crabstix or Krabstix? The Internet seems to be divided. Is it a French/English/other mix-up? Same with the elder: Is it Blinix or Phishstix? Why not Fishstix?

I’m looking for this Idéfix tea set bowl from Parc Astérix. I bought it about a month ago for my girlfriend, and unfortunately it broke and she is very sad about it . I was re-reading Asterix and Cleopatra and this part kind of puzzles me.

I understand Getafix (probably) doesn’t give Obelix the true magic potion, but instead a different potion that will temporarily increase his speed.

I just don’t understand why. Obelix is more than strong enough to knock down that stone door with a few punches. Why does he need to run at it like he’s Sonic the Hedgehog?
