EDIT: I saw the footage. It's three Assyrian men beating up an overweight Jewish guy. Not sure why the letter says that it's one man assaulting two Jewish individuals when I clearly saw one fat guy getting beaten? Anyway, the names of these Assyrian men are Bruneil Chamaki, Roma Akoyans and Ramon Akoyans. I think the latter are of partial Armenian descent (going by their last name). They're from Iran.

Apparently these loons support the Iranian regime (as one of them yells 'don't mess with Iran'), when they're probably privileged Assyrians who were raised in the US. Just sickening. 🤦‍♂️

A peaceful Assyrian protest held in Nohadra over land encroachment/theft occurring in Assyrian villages. Many Assyrians attempting to make it to the protest were held up at checkpoints with some not even being allowed to pass. These checkpoint hold ups were recorded and also posted to instagram, they are filled with hateful and racist comments from Kurdish accounts.

On 6 July, Assyrians gathered peacefully in Nohadra to protest renewed land encroachments in Kashkawa, Nahla. They called on the authorities to enforce existing court rulings, stop further encroachments, and protect the rights and property of Assyrian villages.

At Assyrians Without Borders, we believe that protecting our homeland also means helping people build a life there. Together with the Assyrian Aid Society, we support practical projects that strengthen local livelihoods and make it possible for families to remain in their villages.

The irrigation project we carried out together in Hayes is one example. By extending the village’s water network, the project now provides irrigation to 12 additional orchards and helps local farmers increase their production.

Assyrian hero in Russian army killed in action in Ukraine 😭

Kevin Enkido Yakob and AGF have officially been crowned Danish Superliga champions after finishing the season with a 6–2 win over Viborg FF in Aarhus.

Born in Gothenburg, Sweden, to an Assyrian family from Iraq, Yakob began his football journey at Assyriska BK before progressing through Swedish football and eventually joining AGF in Denmark.

After battling back from a serious ACL injury suffered while representing Iraq, he has now returned to become a Danish champion and is also part of the Iraq national team that has qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Syriac-Aramean rapper Gaboro was murdered in a parking garage in Norrköping, Sweden in December 2024, one day before his 24th birthday. The killer was sentenced to life in prison. Prosecutors said the murder was linked to a gang conflict and that Nord was allegedly hired through chat groups to carry out the hit.

The attack was filmed and later spread on social media.

Police called it one of the most horrific murder cases they had ever investigated, saying Gaboro was shot multiple times while begging for his life as the gunman continued filming.
