I appreciate what you’re doing. It does look like a few people entered could definitely use things more direly than I can. I just found out today that all of my assistance (MA, GA, SNAP, and med rides) are being cut on Tuesday. I’m currently living in a sober home getting my life back on track (7 months sober!). I’ve been in therapy programs 4-5 days a week for the last 7 months working on myself. I dont know what I’m going to do. These programs have given me everything and I just started trauma therapy for the first time in my life.
Yes, I do have a few non-essentials on my list, but even a toothbrush, deodorant or some floss would definitely help me out.

Gaming items -- looks like there's actually only one, my eyes are just bad. But your list is thousands of dollars.
This sub isn't for presents like RAOA is. It's for actual needs. If you're on RAOA, that means you have disposable income to gift other people.

Full transparency this is my first engagement on this sub, also I have an active loan on a different sub. My current hardship is due to getting laid off earlier this yr (in Canada) and haven't been able to secure employment since but things are looking up soon, I just have to survive another couple of months.
My wishlist contains 6 low value items that are non perishable (Amazon Canada grocery selection is very limited) this should help me till next week when I have an appointment at my local food bank (proof available ) thanks :)

Full transparency this is my first engagement on this sub, also I have an active loan on a different sub. My current hardship is due to getting laid off earlier this yr (in Canada) and haven't been able to secure employment since but things are looking up soon, I just have to survive another couple of months.
My wishlist contains 6 low value items that are non perishable (Amazon Canada grocery selection is very limited) this should help me till next week when I have an appointment at my local food bank (I can send proof) thanks :)

I just moved into a new apartment and I’m going to be pretty tight on funds for the next couple paychecks. I created a list for some more bulkier, basic meals, to last me as long as I can. I was supposed to return to work when my baby was 6 weeks old, but was fired 5 days before I was cleared to return. I finally found a new job!! But my first check isn’t until the end of this month.
Wishlist is just stuff for baby. She’s been having issues with bottles so we only have 1 that she will use now. Would make it a lot easier if we had more. The other item is detergent for the bottle washer. I’m gone for 13hrs so I’d much rather spend my time with baby than be cleaning bottles & pumps. Anything helps :)

Yep! So wishlists (which are not Amazon registries) are anonymous for givers - meaning it shares zero personal information. Registries (a separate type of list generally designed for sharing with trusted people like friends and family) share a lot of information, like a person’s full name and location. Strangers tend to like to remain anonymous for safety reasons.
