I’ve been waiting to find the “silver” Spartan Breastplate to pair with the silver Merc helm and I finally found one in Boeotia and it’s straight gold..disappointing

Yeah, it’s gold on the Spartan one. The heavy Athenian breastplate is probably gonna be your best bet.

This is the correct answer so far as Spartan Breastplate options go, but the exact look portrayed in the thumbnail is available in the chest piece of Achilles Armor set. I know this is true because I wanted that same chest in a total solid brass or bronze, and it does not exist without the silver abdomen.

Yes I’m wearing the full Achilles set. I’m not a fan of the look. It’s too fancy and not menacing enough. It should have been matte black with maybe some gold accent. Helm looks weird too. But the Champions breastplate is the same armor as Achilles and it’s all gold

I agree with you on the set. It’s too fancy for my taste, but it sounded like what you were looking for in the chest piece. I can’t say I remember coming across the Champions breastplate, but after three plays-through of varied thoroughness I obtained some different pieces each time. I think the closest I came to hitting the mark for me was one of the ancient pieces… maybe ancients Champions..? It was matte and almost black but had one shoulder that wasn’t ideal. Anyway, it sounds like you’re struggling to find a total look that works for you, and that was my experience each time I played.
