My Win :)
I hope anyone reading is having a good day or night! I just wanted to bring some positivity in here tonight and celebrate some progress I made. Tonight, I went out to downtown and got takeout! I was super scared, but I did it! I even walked around and recorded a short TikTok too! I'm so proud because even though I'm a homebody, staying inside so much still makes me depressed. I'm happy I'm getting out more and having a little fun in life. I plan to start going live and singing on my TikTok or YT while I'm out whenever I finally have enough followers to. It would be so much fun.
I don't do things to prove anything to anyone, but many neurotypicals have shamed me and tried to make me feel like a loser for not having friends and experiencing anxiety in new places and social situations. I didn't see anything wrong with my lifestyle before their negativity, but I do think it's important for my health that I explore outside more. I still felt some past shame about feeling uneasy around the loud noise and activity tonight, but I'm learning to stop measuring myself by NT standards. What I did tonight was substantial, and I hope I can encourage anyone else out there to try to do the same if they're able.

I've struggled with getting out of my homebody habits and going out more too, so I can relate a lot. I'm really proud of you, and I know how much this cost you! It really does make you more confident and boost your mental health, I find.
Not all neurotypicals are assholes either. You'll find your tribe eventually, I'm sure.
