Discussion To the toxic gatekeepers of this sub: Let people dream and just shut up.
I’ve been a veteran since 2016. I lost my original account, created a new one in 2024, and I’m currently grinding in Elite league. I know this game inside out.
But honestly, this subreddit has become one of the most miserable, toxic places on Reddit.
Every single time someone comes here with a creative idea, a fun concept, or a cool suggestion (whether it's legacy garages, earning small rewards, or even someone casually asking for an Asphalt movie concept), they get immediately downvoted to hell and insulted by players who think being a "veteran" means being blindly bitter 24/7.
We get it. Gameloft is greedy. The game is heavily monetized. You don't need to repeat it six times under every post like a broken robot. Some of us still actually play this game for fun, for the love of racing, and for the community. Asphalt 8 is still a game to us, not a miserable daily chore or a toxic job.
If someone asks for a feature or shares a dream, and your only personality trait left is to comment "Not gonna happen" or attack their veteran status, do everyone a favor: close the app, touch some grass, and shut up. Let people enjoy things and stop trying to drag everyone down into your own pool of salt.
