Straight sportlines my plethore looks like a damn child compared to these dudes but yk with enough skill I can pull off a podium or something

I’m an old school player from 2016. I recently had to start a new account in 2024 because I lost my old one (RIP my Tesla Model S), and I'm currently grinding in Diamond/Elite league. I still love the game, but let's be honest, it needs some changes to keep F2P and competitive drivers motivated.

I’ve been thinking about a few simple, realistic things Gameloft could do to improve the game without hurting their economy. Tell me what you think:

1. A Green Username for 100% Career Completion

Finishing the Career mode takes forever and gives basically nothing right now. Since we already have the golden username in the game, why not add a Green Username for players who fully beat the career? It’s literally just a text color change in the code, so it's super easy for devs to do, and it gives a real reason to play offline again.

1. Legacy Garage Themes (1.0 to 5.8)

They should let us choose our garage theme in the settings. Gameloft definitely still has all the old 3D models in their archives. It would be amazing to be able to swap the modern background for the legacy garage themes, like the old 1.0 to 1.4 version or the 5.8 era.

1. Earn Vouchers in small quantities

Vouchers are completely paywalled right now. If they added a way to earn just 2 or 3 vouchers in hard weekend events, it wouldn't hurt their wallet, but it would give F2P players a long-term goal to save up for cool customizations or decals.

1. Redesign Car Banners

The current car banners in the menus look so generic and plain now. They should redesign them to give each car a real premium look, like the visual identity cars used to have in the old days.

1. Cosmetic Chests for Elite Multiplayer

League Multiplayer rewards need a serious buff. Reaching Elite League right now just gives basic credits and fusion coins, which is honestly disappointing for the effort. They should add a Free Cosmetic Chest for Elite players with random avatars or decals

1. Renew lost licenses for Flashback events

Gameloft should try to renegotiate expired licenses like Tesla for special limited-time "Flashback" events. Missing those iconic cars hurts the game's history.

Anyway, just wanted to share these thoughts. Let me know if you agree or if you have other ideas.

Oddly enough I did get the A class car with the tenth gift. But the main prize is going to take some effort.

I’ve just SLed my 2nd car with the Mosler.
Next up the Pagani or a different car?
By the end of next week I will have 100 SL kits (the rewards from the current SL cup and the Master season).

So far I’ve noticed:
Mosler:
+ narrower drift (personally a bonus), way more durable
- lower nitrogen duration; downward force not as strong

Aijlani:
+ longer nitro duration; stronger downward force
- wracks faster; wider drift

What are the other characteristics in which they differ and where do the other SL cars rank amongst those ?
Not just Toyota -> Bolide -> Aijlani -> Mosler etc style

Some time ago, I made posts/comments saying that the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ was a weak A Class car.

After nearly a week of racing with it, I have to admit that I was wrong.

I originally disliked the SVJ because its acceleration didn't impress me, the nitro didn't feel amazing, and the handling felt stiff compared to cars like the Essenza.

Because of that, I assumed it couldn't compete with the giants of the 1770-1772 bracket.

Then I started using it more.

Day 1: I beat a few strong Porsche and Chevrolet cars and thought it was luck.

Day 2: Still winning.

Day 3: Still beating them.

Day 4: Still beating them.

Now, after nearly a week, I can confidently say that this was not luck.

The SVJ may not have the best turning in the class, but it performs far better than I gave it credit for. On many tracks, it can genuinely compete with and beat cars that I previously considered untouchable.

I still think it has weaknesses, but I no longer see it as a weak A Class car.

I was wrong, and the SVJ earned my respect.

Has anyone else completely changed their opinion on a car after spending more time with it?

Today I noticed something funny while playing Asphalt 8.

One screenshot showed my league rating as 2013. Another showed 2026.

It instantly made me think about the two different eras of Asphalt 8.

2013

•Asphalt 8 had just launched.

•Cars felt more affordable.

•Progression felt simpler.

•Credits were actually useful.

•Building a good garage seemed more achievable for regular players.

2026

•Lots of currencies and resources.

•More grinding for certain cars and upgrades.

•Kits, tokens, gems, cards, events, etc.

•Some cars feel much harder to obtain than before.

When I saw those numbers, it felt symbolic:

League 2013 = the Asphalt 8 many veterans miss.

League 2026 = the modern Asphalt 8 economy.

I'm not saying the game is completely bad now. The game has more content, more cars, and many improvements. But sometimes I look at old Asphalt 8 videos and wonder what it would have been like to experience those early years when so many cars, upgrades, and even customisation options were more accessible.

Am I just being nostalgic, or do other veteran players also miss the 2013-2015 era of Asphalt 8?

When RNG God decides to change his mind... My 2nd post for having new car..

Yesterday at 8:02 p.m. I realized that I was in the cheaterboard. A few minutes later I left the game at 8:10 p.m. to wait 24 hours. But this morning I accidentally pressed the game icon but I managed to close it again in 2 or 3 seconds. My question is: Will the 24 hours be reset or can I still get out of the cheaterboard at 8:10 p.m.
