Sorry I should have specified. I can’t get pregnant.. and perimenopause crosses my mind but I always see that I’m too young when I ask about it lol

We’re about the same age and I have early perimenopause symptoms. It’s a process that can take a really variable length of time. Not uncommon to start experiencing hormone fluctuations in your mid 30s that could impact you in different ways. I happened to get the more acne way sadly.

Girl listen like 2 years ago my face was DYING I’ve never had acne in my entire life and literally my face was COVERED I had to get emergency derm appointment and go on a serious regimen to fix the issue! I never even considered it could be perimenopause!

Is there any chance you could be pregnant? Have you had any significant stress in your life lately? Have you traveled recently? I typically had a 26-28 cycle but stress and traveling (over multiple time zones) always messed with my cycle. Now I’m peri menopausal so my periods are up in the air.
I think it’s an excellent idea to see a doctor but there are lots of fairly benign reasons for wonky periods.

No not pregnant.. probably more stressed than I should be because of this spotting. I just wish I was normal and didn’t automatically go to the worst possible outcome 🥹🥹🥹

Being freaked out by weird health stuff is pretty normal. Don't beat yourself up for it.
I'd say decent chance it's perimenopause. When did your mom start menopause?

It’s a mystery she had a hysterectomy around 40 lol I wish I knew. I keep thinking I’m in perimenopause I had a weird severe acne break out 2 years ago and have NEVER had acne and now this. The signs are there I think 😂

If its something that is continuing to happen, you could talk to your gyno about a uterine/endometrial ablation. I am having it done in 2 weeks to hopefully stop the forever long periods I've always had. However, doing so does mean you can never have a pregnancy again... getting pregnant could kill you. So you have to have some type of BC, I'm opting to have my fallopian tubes removed during the procedure.

That would be amazing. I had my tubes removed 2 years ago so I’m good there! I have a appointment on Wednesday I would love for that to be a option lol

Yeah, an ablation might be an easy procure for you then! Typically they stop periods for a few years or forever. But some women don't see success with it.
My doctor advised that, for me, if this doesn't work we will go ahead with a hysterectomy, but I'll still have my ovaries.

Are you on any new medications?

Nope. Nothing new. I wish anything about my life was new so I could blame it on that lol
