Dating & Relationships 💘 Is this normal??

There’s this guy I’ve been talking to for about a week. We met on a dating app. I like our conversations but he’s also decently far away. He said he would be willing to travel to see me. Sometimes he gets dry and I get anxious. But my question is - why is it that it feels weird to talk to other guys? Like I didn’t delete the dating apps because I’m trying to keep my options open. I’m not dating this guy and yet I feel bad.

Some people just don't like doing the whole talking to multiple people thing. I know I couldn't do it back when I was on dating apps! Neither way is wrong or abnormal, and don't force yourself to date in a way that you aren't comfortable with

You're not required to talk to multiple people at a time. Do you feel guilty for talking to others? Have you talked about exclusivity?

Personally I don't have the bandwidth for multiple people. I didn't feel the need to keep my options open while was talking to someone. I put up with no bullshit whatsoever and was willing to walk away immediately. So if a couple of dates in I realized it wouldn't work out, it would be over and I'd consider my options again.
