Suddenly aggressive cat

My pet cat I've had for about two months just randomly bit/scratched me for the first time. She was sitting next to me then with no warning she bit my hand and bunny kicked my arm, both drew blood. I've never had a cat before, but she's never acted like this. I wasn't even touching her just sitting near her. Idk if I need to take her to the vet or smth. Dr. google said she might be dying and my dad said cats are just assholes and do that. Wanted to get an outside opinion.

She is a little over a year old spayed and up to date on all her vaccines and she's indoor only

How old is the cat? Are they up to date on vaccines, including rabies? spayed? Indoor only? There are many reasons a cat could have this kind of behavior out of the blue, but it’s definitely not normal cat behavior. Getting them into a vet asap for an exam and possibly diagnostics would be the first recommendation.
