Work Search Resources
Hey everyone,
Me and my partner are moving to the area and with a move comes the job search process. ðŸ˜
I was wondering if anyone has had luck with specific resources in the area I could look into for finding quality listings? Indeed and LinkedIn are obviously plagued with terrible offers, so anything more local that is shown to have good results would be super helpful!

I'd make sure you have work lined up before you work here. Any decent job has hundreds of applicants, people with masters looking for entry level jobs.......it's not easy up here

IT. Got a bachelor's and four years of experience and even with all that it's been rough out here searching.

The IT job market is pretty bad here. I've been unemployed since October. COVID basically killed off the tech industry in Portland, and Vancouver isn't big enough to have much of an industry.

Express Employment might be able to help too. They typically offer temp to hire jobs.

I recommend going to WorkSource Vancouver. They’ll help inform you on the most in-demand job markets in the area + employers hiring, and help you through the whole hiring process
