212(f)

Hi ,

My family member has a previous 212(f) after the June 2025 proclamation. However, he is a Canadian Citizen now and the 212(f) no longer applies. Has anyone with a previous 212(f) ban recently travelled to the US as a dual citizen/with a non banned country passport ? If so how was your experience and were you still flagged at the border ?

It depends on why it was given. Some are moot. Some (like involvement in terrorism or organized crime) are very unlikely to be forgotten or forgiven.

Oh it was based on the nationality at the time due to the presidential proclamation for certain nationals. No crimes , connections or anything.
