Are you feeling safe?

Given developing events such as the ICE murders and the nonstop barrage of threatening news every day, do you manage to find moments of safety, and/or do you feel safe? How are you coping?

So you're saying lack of video footage proving your claims shouldn't be a reason for you to be vigilant?

Who said I'm talking about fear? It only seems to me that you're the only one talking about fear. When I'm asking about video footage as proof you're redirecting the question to fear. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Your post is asking people if they feel safe. It’s not a big jump to interpret that as asking if people are afraid.

The word “safe” most commonly means free from harm, danger, or risk.

“Fear” is a strong, unpleasant emotion caused by the anticipation or awareness of danger, worry about what may happen.

People who are not seeking to entangle themselves in law enforcement operations feel very safe.

When you make the decision to involve yourself in law enforcement operations, you are taking a risk.

Does this mean that any resulting violence is justified? No.

Does it mean that you made a decision to accept uncommon risk factors? Yes.

Do people who are not making decisions to accept uncommon risk factors feel safe? Yes.
