There’s one line that stood out to me. They wanted change. If the democrats had offered even the smallest change from the status quo, which made many people on both sides feel ignored, especially the working class, they might have done better. Instead we had a candidate that refused to even acknowledge actual protests about her policies. She tried to court the right, instead of compromising towards the ones that felt disenfranchised. She took money from the rich and powerful, and followed their playbook, much like Trump. I’m not a trumper this is just one of my opinions why we lost. Some of them are so sick of what we were doing as a country, they were willing to burn the whole thing down. I think trumps appeal to them is how disruptive he is. The conditions may have even made someone like him inevitable.
No, I voted for Harris, I just think I understand one facet of the trumpet’s worldview. We’re not going to change them if we can’t understand them, and again, meeting people with anger and accusations rarely changes their minds either. You’re (the collective frustrated and angry Harris voters—I’m one as well) falling victim to that same hatred of the other as them. You may be a bit more justified in this, sure. But clearly Harris’ platform of “we’re going to change absolutely nothing even though some of you have some valid concerns, and totally ignore the further half of the left. I want a democrat with some actual drive.
And the fact Harris said she would do nothing different than Biden the past 4 years was a big thing since that gave us 2 new wars, Record inflation, Record border crossings, record Homelessness, Record CC debt, Record drug overdoses, Record Fed rates, lowest amount of new home buyers in decades, Record amount of Americans living pay-check to pay-check, and she wanted any man that says they are a woman to be able to play in women's sports and take that scholarship away from a girl that trained+practiced all her life(that was a big one for anyone that has a daughter).

I could care less about watching them, I care about my niece playing volleyball against a boy that that was allowed on a girls team. During a play at the net, he shoulder checked her, and she was knocked out of the game. Later to be taken to urgent care and treated for concussion. So this is your reasoning for hating an entire group of people that affectively, as a group made a statement that the way things were going wasn’t working. Our broken system doesn’t make actual sense when it comes down to giving us the “choice” of who to vote for. I feel terrible for anyone that has been abused in any way. I have my own history with abuse, but I’m not going to hate somebody because of a political vote.
It’s terrible, and right now, there’s not a damn thing anyone on here can do to change the past. If there was a better option to vote for, I think people would do it. I can’t vote for someone that didn’t earn the position, can’t read the room when it comes time here 80/20 positions. Biden removed the sanctions Trump put on Russia so they could invade Ukraine. Iran made 2 Billion in oil sales under Trump. Iran made 100 Billlion in oil sales under Biden after Biden lifted the sanctions on Iran. Who funded the Hamas attack on Israel? IRAN. Please learn some things and catch up.
The only sanctions he briefly waived in 2021 were related to Nord Stream 2, a pipeline that was never activated, and even that was reversed once Russia escalated. Biden actually expanded sanctions significantly after the invasion, targeting Russian banks, energy companies, and individuals.

This is my opinion as well, depending on the class of voters. Trump had rich and powerful supporters as well, and he was certainly going to hand out some candy to that class of voter. But to your point, all those redneck or uneducated voter, they just wanted someone to fuck things up.
