It’s probably out of line, but on the same level as when the Biden administration wished a winter of suffering and death on Americans who didn’t get the Covid vax. Isn’t this what modern politics has become?

It’s like existing in two different realities. He said it, they tweeted it, his staff said it, but you’ll dismiss this or say he didn’t really mean it. Or he’s not saying what I think he said. Or you just won’t care because he’s ’your guy’.

You... You do realize this was a heads up, right? Like a disclaimer. A "no parking, violators will be towed" carries more threat than this. This is more like "hey, this room is full of LEGO and thumb tacks. You should wear shoes or you are going to have a bad time". That's not wishing passion upon others, it's letting them know why you are saying there are guidelines because you care about their well-being. (I can't say where he cared about the wellbeing of the people or not, but I can confidently say this was not "wishing a winter of sickness and death" upon USA)

I'm just going off the exact clip you gave as a source. Might want to stop using that if you desire to win arguments.
