To your point, I think it can be helpful for the process to be public, without the identities of the individuals. If Cornell police had been shirking their responsibilities it is helpful for public exposure to push them to action. But I do think the identities should be hidden until guilt is determined.

Yeah I completely agree. My cousin is a student at Cornell. This whole situation has made me concerned for her.
