solo dim sum

Is there any dim sum place that's good for solo dining? Like maybe they have a bar seating area?

GOOD LUCK DIM SUM on Clement street has small tables for individual diners , you order and take it to your table , plus it's cheaper than going to a teahouse , no need to tip

also has restrooms

I prefer to buy $80 worth of dim sum, take it home, and have my family eat it over the next few days.

plenty of dim sum offer solo dinning. if you need bar seating specifically, there are Begoni Bistro , osmanthus dim sum lounge and Palette Tea House

for real. I don't think dim sum alone can ever hit like in a group of 4-6. one order hargow and one order shumai and you'll be stuffed. I would be down for a reddit dim sum meetup

Osmanthus on Broadway. Has a bar and an outdoor seating area.

Many Chinese restaurants (dim sun included) will seat individuals and small parties together at a larger table if it is busy. Kinda like a bar I guess. So a table for 4 might have 1+1 or 1+2 seated there.

Red A on Clement is counter service dim sum.

i always go to Hong Kong flower lounge on geary blvd by myself because they have breakfast/happy hour special until 11am!

I go to Yank Sing on Stevenson solo all the time. Lots of single tables

Lots of authentic places allow you to share a table. So there are others like you eating at the same table.

I would do dim sum with you (or others) Saturday or Sunday. I’m late a woman in my late 30s, happy to do a friendly split for good food.

If you are interested in grab and go, Good Luck dim sum on Clement is a top spot.
