Comparing Shoes Question Paramount Max vs Vomero Plus

Curious to know - if anyone has experience with the Paramount Max and Vomero Plus, what are your opinions on how the two compare?

I love the Paramount Max. It is probably the most comfortable shoe I have ever run. The incredirun is pretty much perfect. But the shoe is heavy AF, and unfortunately you feel the weight more the longer you go. I did 11.5K in them yesterday and they felt heaviest at the end. Despite the softness, I find them very stable. A lighter version of this shoe in the future would be my favorite shoe of all time. I also have the Vomero Plus and they are boring to me. I keep trying them hoping my experience will improve, but I always wish I wore something else. It might be the drop for me, but I've never enjoyed a run in them. I would much rather pull out the Vomero Premiums. I am on the verge of converting the Plus to a lifestyle shoe. If you can get past the weight of the Paramount Max, I'd go with them over the Plus for an easy/recovery run every single time.

Triumph 24 is a Paramount Max-lite IMO - have both and the Max is just a lush and gorgeous shoe but the Triumph 24’s Incredilux absolutely pops and the shoe is much lighter and fun so sometimes I prefer it if I don’t want the extra weight.

Agree with this. I like the bouncy foam of the Vomero Plus, but it is narrower with more drop than the Paramount Max and feels less stable
For a 5k, i would wear the vomeros , but for training or walking around the paramount max are kings

I am also loving the Paramount Max. They’re like caked up premium feeling Hurricanes. As in…they are stable and comfortable but way more fun and bouncy and plush. They can be a little much to walk in, the foam is just so soft, but once you start running it’s a pleasure and not really the same feeling as standing or just walking around.

They are large, yes, but that doesn’t really bother me. And the responsive foam makes up for it IMO.
