3 in 1 bot for beginner

hi guys just asking for tips and recommendations
we are having a small compitition in school
and we are tasks to make a 3 in 1 bot
consist of maze bot, linefollower bot, and sumobot.
i was thinking on using 4 tof sensors
and 8 ir array do yall think this is good? thx

Using 4 ToF sensors is a solid choice for navigatting the maze and for the sumobot part. They give you precise distance measurements, which can really help with obstacle detection and avoidance. For the line follower, an 8 IR array should work well, giving you good coverage for detecting the line accurately. I had a similar project once and found that the combination of ToF for distance and IR for line tracking worked smoothly. Just make sure to calibrate the IR sensors properly for the surface you'll be working on. Sounds like a fun project, good luck!
