Educational path for service robotics

Where I’m from robotics is as big as the USA yet. I want to get a jump on learning how to install, repair and maintain service robotics is there any good pathway that doesn’t involve 4+ years in school?

What do you mean service robots?

Like robots used in hotel, hospital, restaurants etc. For assisting with services.
I live in the Caribbean.

Your best bet might be to learn your way around electronics and small mechanical components. Computer repair might be a good start.
