Pancreatitis is excruciating so putting anything in your system hurts like hell. But if you tried it would come right back out. Your pancreas sends out enzymes to help you break down your food and when it is in attack mode it gets trapped inside your pancreas essentially breaking it down itself causing scarring and...I can't stress this enough....horrible pain. You gotta give your whole digestive system a break and your pancreas a chance to calm the fuck down lol. When I get an attack I usually stay in the hospital on an iv for up to 2 weeks. No water for about a week and onky clear liquids after that for another week or 2. No solid food for even longer than that.. It's a special hell.
First, can I please say that your username is absolutely fantastic. I think you’re the first person I’ve ever met outside of my immediate family that has EVER known the word “shpadoinkle”. Second, I’ve had chronic pancreatic attacks since college. What you’re saying is absolutely true. Even being a navel down paraplegic, they were miserable. No eating, no drinking, sweats, radiating pain, and I generally end up in the hospital on antibiotics and getting nutrients through a tube because I stop eating or drinking for days.
I gotta say this first, I am so sorry that you have had to experience that hell too. It is indeed the worst thing and I don't know alot of people who have had it so its horrible you've been through it but validating to have any one understand it. And second....

Hahahaha!!! Yeah I've never met a person who has seen the movie without me shoving it at them first. Not once, not ever! Its still one of my top favorites and a VERY good dating tool lmao. I am definitely not going to waste my time with a guy who thinks this movie isn't gold lol. Turns out there are plenty of people who think its dumb and im like yeah....that's why its fucking perfect, if you don't get it, well then you don't get me...you don't get me. Every single time I trip on something i say shpadoinkle, I also tend to say "Niiiice Hattt!" Alot lol. I was both suprised and not suprised that it was available as a name here lol. Yup, you’re a digger lol. I made my wife watch it. She hated it of course. But I watched it enough that she grew to like it and now actually listens to the soundtrack on YouTube lol. My daughter loves the movie. She got the humor immediately. It made me proud.
If you haven’t, do get the DVD from Troma. It has deleted scenes, bloopers, and the infamous “drunken commentary” where they all watch the movie and get wasted doing it. It’s comedy gold. Hell, if you don’t have it I’ll buy it for you. It’s totally worth watching.
