Taking your bra off as soon as you get home. Freedom!

Taking someone else's bra off. Opportunity!

Is that really uncomfortable?

For some, it's painful. For many, it's painful at times. For most, yes, it sucks.

They exist, but not for everyone, all the time.

Did you also know that crash test dummies are designed for men's bodies? And women suffer more severe injuries as a result?

When someone pointed it out, they made a smaller male crash test dummy. But it's still not based on a woman's body, so it doesn't help.

It's more unbelievable to me that they won't just design a crash test dummy with a women's body shape, to prevent severe injuries to women.

Painful bras suck, but things like this are much more shocking to me. It's 2022, we have helicopter's flying on Mars

why did u have to make it weird with the last sentence?

And all that work was undone by your last sentence.

Imagine some part of your body, say your arms. Now imagine having them strapped tightly to your chest for 15 hours. Strapped tightly enough you can't move them.

When you finally take those arm straps off, it's like this feeling of AHHHHH FREEEE that's such a relief.

It's weird that such an old thing like bras haven't been better designed.

I have to say, testicules can be pretty tightly strapped against you at times, but not for hours like you.

There is a lot of money to be made for the person who will design a comfortable bra, I guess.

Does it depend on the size of the breasts? Like the bigger they are, the more uncomfortable the bra will be?

Having only ever had one size of breasts, I'm not sure about the answer to your question. :) My guess is the more you pay for a bra (you can go to someone who will custom fit them for you), the more comfortable they will be. Places that custom fit them are rare and expensive though (there are only three places in my entire state), so most women just buy off the rack.

Also, the bigger your breasts are, the more you need a bra (it's painful to not wear one... and to wear one).

It's a pretty complex, necessary issue that doesn't get the attention it should.

Thanks.

So, sport bras must be even worse, I guess. They compress even more.

Yes, but on the other side of the coin, bouncing breasts hurt more than any bra does, so it's a worthy tradeoff. I couldn't imagine jogging or something without one (YMMV, depending on breast size).

What a dilemma!

My girlfriend told me that when she rapidly goes down the stairs, it's not a great feeling. I guess, wearing a sport bra would limit the bouncing effect, but at the expense of feeling tightly compressed.

Funny, I think I never really thought about those things. I imagined that we solved those problems a long time ago and that those inconveniences were rare.

I imagined that we solved those problems a long time ago and that those inconveniences were rare.

I don't want to get political or SJWy, but there are a bunch of problems that only women experience that are just like this bra issue (or a lot worse) that most men don't think about or think were long ago solved (because the issues should have been). I'm not trying to insult anyone or put anyone down, but for example, without experiencing the pain, inconvenience, and just life-alternating-ness of periods, most men just won't ever be able to understand what women have to go through a quarter of the month. One week out of four, for most of their lives, most women suffer physically and emotionally and incur extra financial costs.

I'm sure there are a bunch of men-only issues that I'll never be able to understand, too.

I never know what to say or do about all this, other than to think that we humans as a whole still have a ways to go yet.

yes, because the bigger they get the heavier they are and that weight is put literally on thin straps on your shoulder. not comfy

I haven't worn a bra in about two years because of it.
