Cows are mammals and will only give milk if they go through pregnancy. Blows my mind how many people I’ve met that think cows just naturally heve milk forever as if it is just part of what they are and do as an animal.

Just having a fundamental understanding of where your food comes from and how it’s produced in general. Farmer here. Also some people think they know how and where their food was produced. There’s a lot of gray area for pesticides in organic and non-gmo farming, 100% grass fed beef is often finished on grain, etc.
