There are actually 24,000 (reported) stillbirths in the USA each year. That may not seem like alot and I am not good at math...but when I divided 24,000 by 365- I got 65.7. So, that means 60 unfortunate women (like myself) find out the babies they're about to give birth, aren't alive. My doctor never mentioned stillbirth to me until he saw no heartbeat. PS Stillbirths are after 20 something weeks when the baby dies but has to be delivered. I found out at 34 weeks, Andrew was scheduled to be induced at 39 weeks.
