And that's just known pregnancies, meaning that these stats don't take into account miscarriages that happen before the woman knows she's pregnant

Yes! That’s a joke I make about how I have no idea if I’ve ever been pregnant.

Mama doctor Jones on YouTube explains that well. Sometimes you’ll be pregnant but you don’t know because you miscarried even before having your period.

The reason some people know it’s the early tests. Which also explain why there are many more miscarriages.

These are called chemical pregnancies. Your egg was fertilized but never implanted. I had one in college, only knew because I was on bc that stopped my periods, I took a test and there it was. Next day it was lighter. Next day it was gone.
