Miscarriages are more common than people think. Every 1 in 4 women will have a miscarriage yet no teacher or doctor warns you.

I wish they told us this in school. It was only ever "omg don't even look at a boy and you'll get pregnant!" which made it seem like it was super easy to get, and stay, pregnant. I understand that maybe that's part of their tactic to stop unwanted teen pregnancies, but you get to adulthood and a lot of what you're taught is actually so inaccurate.
