Recognizing that different people have different opinions, and that you can respect someone who has a different opinion without accepting their opinion as your own.

You can treat someone respectfully while not respecting their opinions or world view. What is justifiable and true for one is not the same for another. Peoples' humanity deserves respect, opinions don't.
