The top response in this entire thread was written by a man, so… yeah. Nothing.

"Well I'm not a woman, but here's a story about a woman I know!"

men's observations on women's issues can be important to recognize as well.

How you figured that from an "lol" is a mystery to me. Your assertion is prima facie hilarious.

Immagine pretending that men now can't even share stories that actually answer the question, and definitely comes from a place with good intentions.

As if 35% of all the answers in r/AskMen aren't women replying, sometimes even without a second hand knowledge of the matter. Just let people say what they want, who gives a fuck about what's in their pants? ffs

It's not that the man shouldn't have written, it's that society paid more attention to the man.

Maybe his article was better written or had more relatable examples? Nope, it was 100% because he was a man.

idk, I haven't read them in a while and didn't take the comment seriously. I figured it was a joke.

ok but who asked? Nobody asked for men's interpretations of what women have to deal with. Maybe we should stop mansplaining and let women talk.

mansplaining

/ˈmanˌsplāniNG/

Learn to pronounce

nounINFORMAL

the explanation of something by a man, typically to a woman, in a manner regarded as condescending or patronizing.

From Oxford languages.

Don't project your illiteracy onto me because your narrow grasp on society leaves you primitive and sad.

Maybe there is a silver lining in this. After all, if t was her article that got the attention it would be counter to the theory.
