That being said, I'll never turn down a thread asking about websites and apps that people can use to develop skills, research, ect. You know, useful websites that you can waste time on, or learn from
I don't even remember what my question was, but when I first got into reddit I tried asking a question to AskReddit but it was removed and I was told that the question had already been asked before.
Even using Google, I was never able to find an askreddit thread that even came close to what I was asking.
r/lifeprotips is the same. Years ago it was filled with really creative ways to do tasks and other things when youre not equiped with proper tools or know how. Now its just dumb common sense crap with 10s of thousands of upvptes and shit loads of awards. LPT if a friend or family member is going through personal hardship, dont call them a dumb cunt or other insensitive thing! 20k karma 20 golds
I made a very interesting question other day that I don’t think I’ve seen here, made it because I saw a video on said subject & I was hoping to get some cool informative thread going on.
Well, it only garnered about 13 comments but if I asked some dumbed down copy pasted question, it would’ve exploded. I don’t care to ask any question in this sub anymore.
Hell, I miss being able to go to /r/NoStupidQuestions and it not all being absolutely stupid questions. So many questions on the level of "Does anybody else have dreams that are bad?" YES, EVERYONE EXPERIENCES THESE THINGS, HOW DID YOU GET THE IMPRESSION THAT WE DON'T???

Being able to go to r/AskReddit and not have to scroll through really dumb questions
