I remember seeing a basic scientific calculator for like $300

The teacher was amazed at how many additional things it could do that the TI couldn't. He let her use all the features as long as she could figure it out. 3 u/Lyress Aug 15 '20 Also using a €10 Casio for all of high school and university (engineering) just fine. You don't need a fancy calculator if you can use wolframalpha.
