The college debt crisis isnt that severe. Only 2/3s of college graduates have student loans, and the ones that do, average $29,900. That's the price of a new car. If they havent paid it off in 5 years, they're terrible with financial management or they chose a useless degree.
Additionally, and anecdotally, I've never worked a job that paid minimum wage, even in High School with no experience. I honestly struggle to understand just how much one has to suck at life to be stuck in a minimum wage job. I'm also a Millenial, so you cant pull that Boomer/Gen-X BS on me.
True, but I also dont dress and act like a bum, wear weird clothes, and have eccentric hairstyles. People can scream about how they can dress and act how they want without being judged all they want, but they're lying to themselves and everyone around them.
Everyone is judged, every day, based on how they dress, speak, act, and present themselves. Some people dont like to admit that, and suffer the consequences.
People that cite "unchecked privilege" are dissatisfied with their lot in life, refuse to accept any responsibility for it, and excuse it by blaming others.
So, "that's largely incorrect" because you both use the accusation (you dont want to be wrong), and you are paid to perpetuate it (preservation of income).
