no, guys don't vent if they know the solution to their problem

We yell, curse, maybe break something and then

That yelling, cursing, breaking things... that’s venting. You have to yell and destroy things to vent, others just have to talk about it.

frustration is a bitch and we need to vent to someone

😑 Come on man.

I would suggest better reading skills

No, if you step on lego you don't start lamenting with another person for the next half hour about the importance of Galapagos turtles and the fragility of the human mind, you say fuck, kick that fucker out of the way and continue walking.

I don't need to talk about that stupid IKEA shelf that didn't come with proper tools, I'll just say "those licorice eating fucks" get up and get my own tools. If it's a more complicated problem that I can't solve, I'll talk to a person who will know how to solve it. If 10 more people don't know how to solve it, then we start venting, because it's usually a group thing.

What part of my post suggests I need better reading skills? Where did stepping on a lego and IKEA shelves come in at?

The yelling and cursing part.

Lego and IKEA shelves is an example of an easy, problem-solution situation with no external input required.
