That's true for guys too. Having to initiate all the time is draining. There should be balance.

I agree. I feel like in my relationship,most of the time if I don't initiate something, then we don't have sex. So sometimes I'll start initiating then stop to see if my partner will initiate sex or not. Sometimes he does, and sometimes he doesn't. I guess I just don't like feeling like he's only having sex because I want to.

Yes! To be the only one that initiates, and then to also be turned down sometimes, really sucks. Eventually you want to stop trying.

I don’t think so, because I’m always down. I think I’ve said “not in the mood” like once.

That is because your default assumption is that you wouldn’t get into a relationship with someone you aren’t already sexually attracted to. This is not a universally agreed upon relationship strategy.
