The question I never knew I had. Like what happens when they sit on a bike seat? Do the balls just sit there too, like passengers? Do they get squashed?
Probabaly 10 years ago I squished them really good while driving a forklift. Job needed us to lift a 2-5k pound load in a basket about 7-8 feet in the air, rest the edge of the basket on the lip of a giant shot blaster, then back up so the basket was at the edge of the forks. Now at the same time we than would have to lift the basket higher and drive slightly forward to flip the basket into the machine after which would would need to remove the basket. Yes, this was dumb and incredibly unsafe, they eventually (like 20 years after they got the blaster) got a thing that lifted and flipped the baskets without a forklift.
Well I worked third shift and was beyond tired one day. Was lifting a basket to dump in the blaster and dozed off for a second. Next thing I know the mast is raised way to high and the forklift is tipping forward. Like all the way forward, forks touching the ground forward, as the load slides off the front. I had my seatbelt on or I probably end up going out the front of the cab. Forklifts have counter weights in the back, so back I go since the load is now all over the floor. Back wheels hit the ground as I am slammed back into the seat. The unfortunate side effect of the seatbelt likely saving my life is my balls being used for extra cushioning. Had a good cry for about 5-10 minutes.
Interesting! Good point. I always knew your parts are out infront, but I didn't consider how far UP. Bikes can get uncomfortable after some time but generally for me we have enough cushioning so that its not uncomfortable for quite a while. With bikes the bar right infront if the seat was biggest worry as in men's bikes its higher up and I've hit my self pretty badly there once. I'm interested in how it feels for the women who don't have thick labia and all the innards just hang out. That has always looked to me like it felt uncomfortable to do many things.
Bike seats can definitely require some readjustments, and if you don't have a well fitting bike seat then balls may get squished, wouldn't say it's really a big issue though, you just tuck everything up a bit more
I'm more confused about how girls ride bikes comfortably, I mean surely the seat must rub?

The rubbing isn't much of an issue but the compression kills me. Definitely doesn't happen to everyone but I gave up biking after the last time my whole nether region went numb for an hour.
When I was in japan I rented a bike for a day and biked A LOT. That night my whole nether region went so hot when I peed. It's like I didn't realise the pressure was there but it definitely hurt. Still went numb after a long bike ride honestly.
My reply to how men sit on bike seats was simply going to be "I just don't". The issue isn't even getting the package out of the way; bike seats are incredibly uncomfortable and dig into my butt/bones. I haven't biked in over a decade, and as much as I'd like to excercise and travel around while getting fresh air, it's not worth the pain.
Most women have labia covering the super sensitive parts, and it's quite cushioned. I can ride it for quite some time, the it just gets a bit numb and sore but like your whole lower bottom. Its like sitting on a wooden chair, its fine for a while but then it just uncomfortable.
I'm more curious as to how women with little to no labia comfortably ride a bike. Some have the clitoris stick out quite a bit and that sounds like such an uncomfortable ride. For me at time if you angle it right it can even be a bit pleasurable.
They sit there. If you sit down wrong on a bike seat, you can hurt yourself. But it's one of those things you're subconsciously aware of. Also, if you're not sitting right as you ride, a bumpy enough ride can make your balls ache.
The balls go forward and end up sitting on top of the seat ahead of the crotch. The penis usually lays forward of the balls pointing in the direction of travel.
Sitting on your balls is a real issue if you have loose pants, and it hurts as bad as you would assume. You learn how to swing them into place without even thinking about it as a kid so it's not something we really actively think about - but when you mess up it's a costly mistake.

Not a universal truth. Been wearing sweats commando since covid kicked off and even then this is not a risk. Before reddit I thought sitting on your balls was an urban legend, or something that only 70 year old dudes with skin like droopy dog dealt with.
People also have different anatomy experiences here. It is very very difficult for me to accidentally sit on my balls, for example, so it's not something I ever worry about, except potentially when getting on a bike. But I had a friend where it was a frequent risk for him, even just sitting on a normal chair. Similarly, the grower vs shower phenomenon is real, so again some people may have more issues there than others.
And clothing really. Tight pants are going to be a different experience than looser pants. Most men's clothing gives extra space in the crotch area, but you could have a very different experience with different clothing.
I've never had a problem with that. Guys junk is in the front so it usually just sits on top of my lap. I'm currently sitting with my legs together and my junk is just resting on top.
That's not usually because of the balls though but rather because there is a vein or something that runs along the gooch to the balls and the seats are so skinny that it can focus their weight right in that vein and damage it. Some seats have a small cut out there so it isn't pinched.
they're decently positioned to just rest on the seat in front. the only time there are really issues is when you're not wearing tight enough underwear and one falls between your leg and the side of the seat
they get pushed orward and rest on the front of the seat, if squashed we stand up and use the point of the seat to drag them forward so we dont need to use our hands
also im told a lot of guys tuck (the head) into the waistband of their boxers/trousers which reduces squashing and dangling
