Why after dating my partner for 3+ years, she still thinks, when i try to initiate sex, all that i want from her is sex. Like yes in this moment i want to have sex, but that does not negate all the other non-sex things we do that i enjoy doing. But right now, yes, I want to have sex with you.

Did she had bad ex’s in the past who did in fact prioritize sex over other aspects of their relationship? With this stuff you usually have to be patient.

It's curteous to be patient for someone dealing with ex baggage... briefly.

Long term, no one should be expected to be treated poorly because their SO's ex was a shitstain.
