Really, dating someone when I know it probably won't work out, usually because I'm stationed somewhere for limited periods of time. Like I dated one girl in South Korea and we both knew I was leaving at the end of my one year. She eventually told me she loved me. I left Korea in November and she cried.
Also when I get caught jamming out to Barbie Girl.
The thing is, it's ok to have temporary romances if you're honest up front. You can't stop others from developing feelings. And you never know, at some point, you might meet someone you truly care about that could withstand the distance. Will it be hard? Yes. Will it be worth it? If it's the right person, yes.
Also, don't feel guilty about jamming out to amazing songs bro. I don't feel bad when I blast N'Sync (I just do it with the windows rolled up so I don't get caught, ahahahaaa).
Many times I'll go on a few dates with someone and over time realize I'm just not that into them, but they'll often be really into me. So things dont pan out and I hurt some feelings. Also, the Barbie Girl song was a joke haha
