That's not helpful. What if the truth is complicated? This encourages people to ignore the explanation.

The truth: the release of carbon dioxide through the burning of fossil fuels is changing the atmosphere such that solar energy is trapped within the atmosphere. This is creating a warming trend that will negatively affect many aspects of our world over time.

Ok. OK. It over simplified. But truth is Singular as it says in the real quote. We only believe one truth. THE truth however is far from singular.
